As storytellers we focus on getting ourselves out of the way so that the story is told through us rather than from or by us.
Storytelling is an experience of living on several levels of consciousness simultaneously. Stories are the means by which we entertain, learn, teach, explore and play out the adventures of life.Drawing on the richness of the oral tradition, we as storytellers craft stories that have the potential to be bridges that connect people to each other, to themselves, and to the invisible world of the imagination.
We believe in the value of stories and that it can truly make a difference in how one sees the world and effect others.Whether it is a short film, community project, documentary or leadership training material- StrongMessage Story exists to tell compelling, heartfelt, entertaining media and stories that can inspire, create awareness and truly make a significant difference in Africa.
We seek to entertain audiences and also invite them to participate in making a difference. To faciliate this we have launched our various ways to get involved, change agents, campaigns and the resources to take this to your community. These includes action kits, screening programs, educational resources, seminars as well as various others. This ensures the impact beyond the film's domestic theatrical or even DVD window.
It is in this process of expression that we create moving stories. Strong Message Story is a growing company that is passionately working to create truly South African and African stories. Through this we want to grow our local entertainment industry and enhance the audience participation and attendance to our own films.
As many see Africa as the dark continent- we realise that Africa is a place of opportunity, a place where stories can move beyond boundaries, a place filled with incredible potential leaders standing strong in character to make a significant difference.
